Just as I suspected

Well, I didn't get a callback. Listening to the names of people who did: one tenor who is well on his way. One soprano who is "2 years ahead of me" ie- graduated from her Master's when I was still an undergrad, has really had it great in terms of having sung leading roles with one of the major houses in the NorthEast, and continues to be a "name".
What does that mean? That I still have to get bigger credits on my resume to be considered? That I have to be older? Or that my voice isn't there yet for the repertoire that I'm singing?
